SAFETY GLASS
HNG TUFF-Fully Toughened Glass
Toughened or Tempered Glass is produced when float glass plate is heated to its softening point and is subsequently cooled rapidly in a controlled environment. This process makes the glass about 4 to 5 times stronger than normal glass.
HNG Float has acquired the best horizontal tempering/toughening technology (Tamglass ProE) from the world leaders M/s Glaston Technologies, Finland. Tempering of glass in ProE furnace is based on the Forced Convection process. By using this furnace, we achieve negligible distortion and bow effect in the tempered glass. ProE has the capability to temper Low E Glass, which not many manufacturers in India are capable of.
Benefits of HNG TUFF
• 4 to 5 times stronger than annealed glass
• Consistent quality
• Withstands abrupt change of temperature; can resist thermal stress on glass
• Once breakage occurs, the glass disintegrates into small granular fragments which are relatively harmless to human body
Application
• Curtain Wall Glazing
• Windows
• Shop front
• Structural Glass
• Shower enclosure
• Furniture
• Table top
• Partitions
• Balustrades, etc.
Specifications
• Thickness 4mm to 19mm
• Minimum size 180 x 350mm
• Maximum size In 4mm: 2000 x 3000mm
• In 5mm and above: 2400 x 4200mm
